To blog or not to blog
Sunday, August 31st, 2008It’s a bit daunting starting a blog. I know what I’m writing could potentially be viewed by millions of internet’ers. There’s usually going to be somebody who knows far more about the topic I’m writing about than I do, so there’s lots of potential for mistakes. This gives rise to some fear that I might get caught out writing something that’s not correct, or that something I write backfires in some unthought of way. But then, in life, usually the greatest gain comes from doing things that you fear (well, within reason: fears that stop you doing things that cause harm are generally pretty valid). I’m talking myself here into hitting the publish button that will cause this text to be shown to the world!
I’m interested to discover if I will make enough time to post with any regularity to this blog and in what direction the content may evolve. I have some ideas for topics I might write about, but that could all change.
Thank you for reading. I welcome your comments on posts, and hope that this blog can become a multiway exchange of thoughts and ideas between you, me and all the other readers and participants, and that it will benefit us all.
To blog or not to blog, that is the question. I guess the answer is:
I can, therefore I’ll have a stab at it.
